Client Bacic Group
Collaboration Builders Bacic Group asked me to bring in a strong (and slightly rock ‘n’ roll!) solution for this interior. I knew the owners loved mid-century design, so brought in an original 1970s Parisian travertine table from Editeur and teamed it with contemporary leather Muuto chairs from Living Edge. The Beni Ourain rug in the living area is classic mid-century, and is the perfect backdrop for a Flexform sofa, Minotti coffee table and Eames recliner. The owners’ mid-century pieces are dotted about and their Stormie Mills and Indigenous artworks are perfect in this space. The home was designed by Klopper & Davis Architects and built by Bacic Group, who also advised on interior finishes. It appeared in Australian House & Garden magazine.
