Collaboration I was tasked with creating a two-bed apartment on $5-$6000 pitched at the student to young professional. The creative brief included a desire for wire chairs and geometrics. I wanted to keep it light with blonde timbers and contemporary colours, then make it comfortable. I always believe in a big throw-yourself-in-sofa and long dining table, even for smaller apartments. Here, the dining table does double-duty as a kitchen bench, and the sofa is the best design ever from IKEA - I just swapped its legs for casters to make it a bit urban industrial (hello IKEA hack). I love this sofa - it's got the best line!

Thank you to Anisah Nasir for assisting on the installation and creating the geometric artworks for the apartment. Installed via scaffolding and hoist on exterior of building… This is when I overcame my fear of heights and see-through flooring. True.
